Win a ticket on SriLankan by filling out the International Passenger Survey
All it takes is five minutes of a passenger’s time and the chance to win a return air ticket will be theirs. SriLankan Airlines invites passengers to fill out and handover the International Passenger Survey (IPS) form provided onboard by the cabin crew and enter the monthly raffle draw for a return air ticket to a destination of their choice.
At the heart SriLankan’s service is a motto – a cue to its passengers that they mean the world to the airline. SriLankan truly values each and every passenger and strives to deliver nothing short of the best to its loyal base. Service excellence, however, is not easily achievable and reliant on a number of factors. A continuous cycle of monitoring and evaluating, followed by corrective measures where improvement is required is a necessary course of action. In the process of monitoring, one of the best sources of feedback an organisation can turn to is their own customers.
The IPS was introduced by SriLankan for this very reason. The survey not only helps the airline identify areas for improvement, but also ensure that passenger expectations are met and exceeded in the long run.
The form asks Passengers to rate the airline’s performance on a number of criteria including their overall experience; pre-flight reservation experience; airport services; punctuality of the flight; inflight food and beverages; inflight entertainment; cabin comfort and post-flight services. Presently available in English, the survey will soon be available in a number of other languages including Sinhala and Tamil to reach a wider, more international demographic.
To encourage passenger participation and feedback, a monthly raffle draw was tagged to the survey this year. Passengers who complete and handover the form will be entered into the draw where one lucky passenger is randomly picked and given the opportunity to fly to a dream destination with the compliments of SriLankan. In addition, all participants will receive a voucher of USD 10 towards the purchase of Duty Free items onboard.
Randi Ranasinghe, the lucky winner for the month of March gushed over her win, “As a regular traveller on SriLankan, I was extremely pleased and surprised, when I heard I won. Since travelling is my hobby, I will use my free ticket to travel to a country I haven’t visited yet. I sincerely thank SriLankan Airlines for introducing such programmes that aim at rewarding passengers and enhancing their services at the same time.”
Another winner, Ranjani Jayasinghe, was equally delighted and hopes to use her ticket to visit relatives in Europe. The IPS will continue, allowing more passengers to share their feedback and the opportunity to win big on SriLankan.
