Designer Retail Store, ZUDHORA Launched in Colombo

ZUDHORA, opens its doors with sleek and distinctive designer collections available for the discerning clientele of Colombo this week. Located at 14, Reid Avenue, Colombo 7, the launch of the store is set to add glamour and high fashion to the retail industry in Sri Lanka. The store launched by two renowned designers, Ramona Oshini and Charini Suriyage, is backed by a reputed retail company along with four directors specializing in marketing, corporate finance and strategy to ensure its success.

Speaking of the launch of the store, Ramona Oshini, Designer and Proprietor stated: “We are so proud to be launching this store. We wanted to create a space that will add to the retail industry. Thus, our store is tailored to create spaces that offer a variety of designer clothing. The smart casual section offers limited edition designer wear and the evening wear section offers exclusive one off pieces for the first time in Sri Lanka.”

Highlighting of the designers that will retail at ZUDHORA, Charini Suriyage, Designer and Proprietor further added: “We have a roster of upcoming and established local and international designers that will retail in store. Each designer has a unique vision and a majority of them have also showcased at Colombo Fashion Week and other Fashion Week’s around the world. We are very proud to launch the store with the designers we have lined up for this season and to have the infamous Helga de Silva Perera Blow grace our launch event as the guest of honour.”

The airy and sophisticated store will house women’s ready-to-wear, designer wear and accessory collections by Sri Lankan and international designers. The luxurious line of designer collections to grace the racks for this season at ZUDHORA includes clothing collections from: Ramona Oshini, Charini, Exalt by Ramona Pulle, Meraki by Arra, Ohe Island by Nelun Harasgama, La Sari, KOCA by RN and Amaranta with beautiful jewellery collections by Aganaa Svelte by Monika Rau. The collections which will be available from the launch include classics and one off pieces in luxurious fabrics and materials.

Helga de Silva Perera Blow, a name synonymous to the fashion, hotelier and former Dior model also appears as the guest of honour at the opening of the retail store.  Further partnering the launch event of ZUDHORA are the renowned: Wineworld, OLU, Maharajas Palace, Mal-key rent-a-car, Photobooths Inc, Klassy, Nail Anatomy, Qualitea and Kemara. Photobooths Inc partners the event with its special setup incorporating a FX photobooth that gives guests a unique experience while being able to take home instant prints. OLU Tropical Water, a proud Sri Lankan brand that aims to push the boundaries of water from a source that is so unique also partnered with the launch event, adding to glamour of the evening. ZUDHORA now opens its doors to the fashionable and stylish women in Colombo this August. Customers can shop at ZUDHORA, the destination for women’s designer wear from Monday to Sunday between 10.00am to 7:00pm.
