HSBC Colombo Fashion Week’s Resort Wear Show

The second “HSBC Colombo Fashion Week (CFW) Resort Wear Show” was held in Galle this year on the 5^th and 6^th of October 2013. The day one included models treading a different kind of catwalk on Queen’s Street in the Galle Fort.

Day One

The liveliness of the glamour and modern western fashion, the colonial heritage site was live once again. The décor and lighting as perfectly matched to make it a show to remember.

Recalling companies heritage history in the city of Galle “Colombo Jewellery Store (CJS) launched their new collection “Cock-a-doodle-doo”.

Day Two

Probably the at the only place in Galle to take 180 view of the Indian Ocean, popularly known as the “Jet Wing Light House Hotel” another grand show was held, making it a weekend of resort styles. While setting the mighty Indian Ocean as the backdrop, the show included fashion and resort wear from many new designers too.

The Director Prasad Bidapa and the founder of the show Ajay Vir Singh has worked tirelessly making this event another historical event held and to remember in this iconic city. Apart from HSBC there were many other sponsors and supporters which included Jetwing Hotels, ODEL, Colombo Jewellery Stores, Hameedia, Land Rover, Spa Ceylon, Ramani Fernando Salons, British Council, Leo Burnett and Hellmann Logistics.
